Sometimes it’s simply a glass of cool water. Sometimes, a walk in the forest. A funny movie, a time in solitude, happy hour with a friend. A difficult conversation that your conscience is prompting you to walk through. Self-care is very versatile and it varies depending on your current needs. It might be a workout that pushes yourself. It might a week of pure rest. It might be cupcake and a coffee. It might be (probably more often) a bowl of whole food and greens.
Self-care, when it comes down to it, is simply self-kindness.
So you already have everything you need to implement the perfect self-care routine. Because self-care is simply the choice to be kind.
